Lego City Undercover: The Chase Begins Review | Worth Playing

Worth Playing: "LEGO City Undercover: The Chase Begins is an overly ambitious game that isn't as good as the home console edition. The limited feel of the open worlds and the lack of traditional LEGO-style levels makes this version less impressive than it should be, and the various technical issues don't help the game, either. For those looking to get an open-world style game on the go, this fits the bill. For those looking for something much more enjoyable, rent this movie from him and buy the Wii U version instead."

MTV:"The Chase Begins" accomplishes what it sets out to do quite well, but the timing of the release feels a bit unfortunate. Overall, it's an enjoyable game, but it can't really compare to the superior Wii U entry into the franchise. Had this game come out prior to the Wii U release it would likely have bolstered both experiences, but since it landed after, it's hard to recommend this one over its big screen brethren. That being said, it is still a hearty, and enjoyable 3DS title, and anyone that is a fan of the LEGO games will enjoy exploring LEGO City, particularly if they havent had a chance to spend time with the Wii U release yet.

But opening week sales are less than half that of the original.
But despite Riptide's success at the top of the charts, the zombie slaying sequel only managed to sell less than half the amount the original sold during its first week on sale in September 2011.
The Xbox 360 version accounted for 71 per cent of Riptide's total sales, with the remaining 29 per cent split between PC and PS3.
Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen enters the chart at No. 3, with abysmal movie spin-off Star Trek shooting in at No. 4.
